The Kedarnath Yatra is a revered pilgrimage to the Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Nestled at an altitude of 3,580 meters (11,750 feet), it is accessible via a trek of approximately 16 km from Sonprayag or by helicopter from Phata, Guptkashi, or Sersi. The temple is open from late April to early November, with peak pilgrimage from May to October. Pilgrims can enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views, seek spiritual solace, and experience the natural beauty of the region. Adequate preparation, including physical fitness and warm clothing, is essential for this high-altitude journey.
• On arrival Pick up will be available from Delhi Station and we start our tour and drive to Haridwar. • On arrival, check-in into the hotel. Freshen and relax. • Attend Ganga Aarti in the evening on your own, • Dinner and overnight Stay at the hotel.
• Early morning after breakfast to start your journey to Guptkashi via Rishikesh, Devprayag. • On the way we will witness some enchanting view of River Ganga, the confluence of river Bhagirathi and Alaknanda in Devprayag with Rudraprayag, Karnapyrayag & Sonprayag. • On arrival at Guptkashi, check-in at the hotel. Later in the evening visit Kashi Vishwnath Temple and Ardh Narishwar Temple. • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
• After breakfast, head out to GAURIKUND which is the base camp of KEDARNATH Trek. • It is also an important site in Hinduism. It is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva confessed his love for Goddess Parvati. • We will start our trek from this point. Trek from this point is 16km long till KEDARNATH Temple. • On the way we will be visiting some of the beautiful places. • Reach at the top and after completing the Darshan of Kedarnath temple followed by overnight stay.
• Early morning attend morning prayers at around 5 am, have Darshan and start return trek to base camp and journey back to Guptakashi. • Check-In to hotel. • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
• After breakfast, depart by surface to Rishikesh, Garhwal. • En-route visit the Confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River which is called Devprayag. • Attend Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. • Also, make visit to RAM and Laksham jhula. • Have Dinner and you will be dropped at Haridwar to catch your return train.
