Description
Devkund is one of the most loved one-day trek situated at Bhira dam. It is a 'plunge' waterfall pouring massive amounts of water on the rocky surface underneath. It’s confluence of three waterfalls and is said to be the origin of Kundalika river. It is about a three-hour trek from the base village along the dam backwaters and through forest to reach this place known as ‘Devkund’. A major part of the trek goes through some semi-dried forests with the river running parallel and sometimes crisscrossing through the route. One of best weekend gateway near to Mumbai and Pune, and a must visit place for nature lovers. Let’s get connected to nature and have a refreshing weekend which will leave only footprints behind with lifetime memories with team RAAHi.

♦ 5:00 AM - Early morning Depart from Pune by a Private bus ♦ 8:00 Am - Reach base village and have breakfast ♦ 9:00 AM - Small Introduction session and trek guidelines ♦ 9:30 AM - Start trek. Enjoy small small water streams on the way. Views of Bira Dam and Near by areas ♦ 11.30 AM - Reach waterfall Enjoy in the pool water, have lovely photographs ♦ 1:00 PM - Start return trek ♦ 3:30 PM - Reach back to our local home Get changed and have tasty lunch ♦ 4:30PM - Start return journey to Pune ♦ Reach Pune by 8.30 PM( +/- 1hr).
